Orange County, California, 24/7 Care At Home, a leading provider of comprehensive post-acute throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino is proud to announce its hospice line of service has become a Level Three national partner of We Honor Veterans, a pioneering campaign developed by National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The “We Honor Veterans” program is a national campaign designed to engage and support community hospices in better understanding and addressing Veteran’s needs at the end-of-life. 24/7 Care At Home is one of the top hospices in Orange County who has achieved Level 3 designation. “In California alone, there were approximately 2 million veterans, making California the most heavily veteran populated State in the U.S. It is with great honor that we are making great strides to our large veteran community” said Aubrey Calderon, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator.
“I have such a strong pull to veterans and their families. I was thrilled to know that this was a passion at our company. Working on our 3 stars and the Veterans I have had the opportunity to meet has been a real honor” said Niece Nardini, Community Relations Manager, whose ‘Holiday Lights and Limos’ program was recognized by the NHPCO and the LA Times. “Through We Honor Veterans program, we are privileged to care for the men and women who have served our country”, added Nardini.
The company’s success is a product of their staff’s passion and determination to provide the best possible care to veterans within their community. 24/7 Care At Home provides veteran-centric care to all those they serve through unique programs such as their Veteran-to-Veteran volunteer program and pinning ceremonies. In efforts to grow their program, they are always seeking out veterans who are interested in volunteering. For information, please call (866) 505-888 or visit their website at www.247cah.com.
