At 24/7 Care at Home, a Vietnamese family-owned agency, our nurses and therapists visit patients at home across the Inland Empire, including Riverside County and San Bernardino County, following a care plan signed by the patient’s doctor.
Home health can include skilled nursing (wound care, injections, medication and symptom checks, teaching patients and families), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social services, and a home health aide while skilled care is under way. If you qualify (homebound, needing part-time or intermittent skilled care, and seen in person by a doctor or nurse practitioner who orders it), you pay nothing for covered home health services under Original Medicare. Home health is visit-based. It is not round-the-clock care at home.
